Imagine a sleepless night, a count searching for rest... and a melody born to soothe the soul. What if Bach's Goldberg Variations, perhaps never truly conceived to accompany dreams, became here a tale of sound and movement? In The Goldberg Variations: Another Version, each note, each step is a journey into the depths of nocturnal mystery and awakening.
Ten groups of three dances, generated from a single, unified time, deliver perceptual experiences and diverse rhythms, like constellations of emotions and geometries coming to life on stage. Antonio Piricone's piano converses with the bodies of the five dancers from the MoNo Dance Company, weaving a tapestry of music and movement. A dance between symmetry and contrast, between echoes and variations. Prepare to be transported into a world where music becomes dance, and dance becomes music, dissolving the boundaries between sound and body.

Introducing the recent project J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations, a work of art that beautifully combines geometry and music to perfection. This project focuses on creating a version of the Goldberg Variations that takes into account tempo unity while translating on the modern piano some of the principles of performance practice of the XVIII and XIX centuries. Through this innovative approach, the project aims to unveil new interpretative perspectives, offering audiences a fresh and unique experience.
